Super kids update...

I was so excited to talk to Keely about their Super Kids trip.  She was able to meet and love on Jeter and ask some questions for us.  She told us that he was very shy at first but opened up after a little while.  She said that she sees a ton of kids but that Jeter stood out...she said he was really something special and just oh so cute!  His favorite toy is a ball.  He loves Puffs and bubbles.  He is very busy and can be a bit mischievous!  

I cannot wait to hold this sweet boy!  He is just all kinds of precious!

delays, delays, delays...

That is not something adoptiove families like to hear.  Unfortunately there has been an internal audit that has affected the timing of several family's Travel Approval issuance. This is an unusual process within CCCWA, and unfortunately our case has been affected by this administration challenge.  Huge bummer!  We are doing our best to trust in God's timing.  We are praying that the audit is cleared up soon and we receive our travel approval. We are still hoping to travel in May.

New pics and care packages...

We received some new pics of our little guy!  My very favorite was the one of him looking at the photo book.  He has no idea how much those crazy people in the picture love him!  I mean how sweet is it to see him seeing his family for the first time!  My heart could burst with love for this precious little boy!

We were also able to put together a very small care package for Jeter.  Gladney's super kids team is heading to China and will be at our boy's orphanage one day!  We were excited to pick out a couple of things for him.  Reese wanted to add some artwork too...she went with a Panda!  Too sweet!

We are all so ready to get to love on our guy....but we are thankful that the Super kids team will get to do some loving for us!

For now we are not so patiently waiting for travel approval.  Waiting is hard.
