Day 11...

Day 11 was very laid back...just what we needed!  We started with breakfast and then a walk through our hotels garden.  It was so beautiful!  We tried to get a few pictures, but didn't stress because we were meeting a photographer here in the morning for pictures. :)

We came back inside the hotel and found the perfect area for a little dance party...

Then we decided to walk down to a shopping area.  Jeter wanted to walk just like big sisters!  It took us a long time to get there but he had fun!  ;)

While shopping Jeremy of course had to ask the poor sales lady to hold up his formula!  ha!
We shopped for a bit and then thankfully this happened.  I say thankfully because we had a bit of a meltdown and I was opening snacks in the aisle like crazy!
While he slept, we shopped.  Reese was out of clothes so we picked up a couple dresses for her.  Then I did a little shopping for Jeter because he needs to come home with clothes from China!  We also needed an extra suitcase to carry home all the souvenirs!  ha!

The shopping centers are so different.  This one had like 5 floors.  Bottom was the grocery store, 2 - kids, 3 - adults, 4 - home goods, and the very top baby stuff.  You had to check out by telling the individual departments what you wanted, they wrote it down and you took a slip to a main register on each floor.  We ended up checking out like 6 times.  ha!
Jeter stayed asleep the whole walk back and I was even able to  lay down and keep him asleep for a little bit.  Then he woke up and was ready to play!

So we headed to the pool...

We swam for a couple of hours, then came back for baths, dinner, and bed.  The girls discovered this game - Crossy Road.  We laughed over how much it was like China!  But honestly way more cars/motorcycles in China!  ;)

We settled in for the night to get ready for pictures bright and early!  Jeremy had to break out the iron!
It was a pretty relaxing day!  It is hard to believe our time in China is coming to an end!

Day 10...

Good morning from the cutie!
Today was a planned family bonding day at the zoo (by our agency). We ate breakfast as usual at the hotel then met Helen at 10:00 to head to the zoo.  It was actually really close to the hotel which was nice because Jeter doesn't just love car rides. They typically end in him rolling in the floor crying because he doesn't want to be held.  That plus the crazy driving in China completely leaves us all feeling a bit frazzled!  ha!
Jeter is one carb loving boy!  He is double fisting the muffins!

We made it to the Zoo and were ready to see some animal...especially the Pandas!  While we were waiting for Helen to purchase tickets, a little boy right next to us dropped his pants to his ankles and proceeded to pee right off the front curb!  I think we were the only ones surprised by this, which was all the more shocking. J has almost been peed on before by a tiger at the zoo, but never a human!!  Crazy!!!  #becauseChina

The Zoo itself wasn't too great because it was mainly under construction.  But we did get to see several animals.  Jeter was pretty cute checking it all out...even with only 1 shoe on!  ;)

One thing we found really funny was that they had a raccoon exhibit, and the girls loved it!  Ha!

Right after seeing the raccoons, the exhibit became a "Little American Girls" exhibit with flocks of people taking pics with the girls again. Seriously, every time we stop for anything, someone jumps in between them for a pic.  This time a lady actually picked Reese up for the photo (at which point Reese stuck her tongue out for the pic). At the least girls are handling it very well.

Reese took cover by our sweet guide!
Then she wanted Mommy to carry her!  She is being such a trooper but I know it is so hard on her.  She is a Mommy's girl and we have both been missing each other!
We walked around and saw a few more animals.  It was incredibly hot so some animals were hard to see because they were hiding in the shade.

Then we found a kids area where Reese got to ride a mini-horse and both rode full-sized horses.  Ryne also was brave enough to hold a huge snake!!  It's mouth was taped shut, but it was still a huge snake!!

 We found a panda!  ;)

They also had an area with lots of carnival type rides.  The girls each picked 2 to do, and they ended up being the only ones.  They thought it was awesome!
I tried to get Jeter on this but he wasn't having it!

After that we were all about melted so we hit the gift shop and then headed for the van.
so cute that Jeter picked out a Panda!

waiting patiently to get in the van!
After the zoo, we headed back to the hotel and walked to lunch at McD's.  We found a couple photo ops along the way!

The the afternoon was spent lounging around the room while Jeter napped and then pool time!
Jeter is loving the kiddie pool!  He is so happy splashing on the steps.  We are all enjoying visiting with the other adoptive families.  There are about 5 of us that all end up in the kiddie pool!

After swimming, we played to dry out a bit...

these two are becoming fast friends!

Then it was time to go back to the room for baths while Jeremy picked up noodles for dinner. Well, still no bath for Jeter. He loves the pool, but not the bath. Starting to wonder if they ever bathed this kid at the orphanage!  Honestly, baths were probably not a super fun event for him, but we will get there.  The next two days are days are agenda free...I'm sure we will find something to do though!  ;)
