Day 5...

We woke up ready to do some sightseeing!  We stuck with our normal routine and headed to breakfast in the hotel and then back to get ready for our day.  Reese gave Jeter a little lesson in brushing.  He handled it like a champ!  ;)
Gerry picked us up at 9:00 and we headed to West Lake area.  We had tickets for a boat ride and then  plans to visit a tea plantation.
all smiles and ready to go!
Once we arrived we had to walk through garden areas to get to the boat dock.  It was absolutely beautiful!  We had to keep moving (our guide walked fast and didn't stop! ha!) but I would have loved to have spent more time walking around.

As soon as we stopped at the docks, this happened...

It was seriously so crazy how many people wanted pictures of and with our girls!  They were like some little American celebrities!  Our guide had to step in and tell everyone that we had to go or we would have missed our boat.

We made it on and ready to push off!
I tried to keep this little dude inside so he didn't end up overboard...he's crazy enough to do that!  He didn't mind because MaMa had the snacks!  ;)
The lake was surrounded by the city of Hangzhou on one side and mountains on another.  It was very beautiful and peaceful on the water.

After the boat ride we made our way to the tea plantation.

Gerry translated for the "tea lady".  The tea was actually quite good!  We ended up buying some to enjoy at home from time to time.  We also picked out a tea set (because how else could we have tea?!) and were laughing because our first set of "China" is a tea set!  :)
After the tea tasting we enjoyed our walk back to the car.  Reese was needing a lift and really wanted her mommy...

Gerry dropped us off at our hotel and we decided to walk down to the mall for lunch.  We ended up at Pizza Hut!  The menu had an English version so we pointed our way through and hoped for the best.
Jeter was not a huge fan of the pizza, but liked the crust!
After lunch we walked back to the hotel.  The girls wanted a picture on the wall...so we obliged.

Once we got back it was nap time for this sweet boy...
and quiet time for these sweet girls...
After naps/quiet time, we played in the hotel for a bit before heading to the lounge for dinner.  Then it was back to the room for more playing until bedtime.

sweet kisses!
Overall it was a great day!  We definitely had some not so fun moments.  Jeter is doing amazingly well, but he is almost 2 and can throw a big ole 2 year old fit.  It is really hard to know how to handle them, especially when we are out.  Right now we just trying to survive so we are totally using snacks to distract and stop fits.  If we are out and run out of snacks we immediately get more!  ha!  He is an amazing little guy but everything is so overwhelming for him right now.  I mean it's overwhelming for me so I can only imagine what he is going through.  We are loving seeing his personality coming out.  He is so funny and sweet!  I still can't believe he is ours!
