We were able to jet off to Hawaii the first week in May, thanks to Abbott and my hubby for having an amazing year! It was seriously exactly what we needed before jumping on a plane to China! ;)
While we were in Hawaii we were super excited to book our flights to China because we received our TA! Unfortunately we found out (while we were on our overnight flight home) that we were going to have to cancel those and rebook because the civil service office in our son's province was closed for the week! NOOOOOO!!! So, we canceled our flights leaving on May 13th and rebooked for May 20th. As disappointing as that was, the timing probably is better. Ryne will miss the last 2 weeks of school, but no test. Jeremy would have had to go to a meeting like the day we got back from China, but now he will miss it because we will be in China. So, we are looking on the bright side and counting the days until we are China bound!
