We woke up to new scenery and a small bit of sunlight peeking through!
Our new hotel is absolutely stunning! This is a very popular hotel to stay at for adoptive families and it was such a nice change from where we had been. We now blend in a little and don't feel like we are being stared at constantly!
We went to breakfast and were actually all quite giddy! Good food, beautiful surroundings, and lots of American families around with their new little ones made us all pretty happy!
After eating breakfast we headed to the lobby to meet Helen. We had Jeter's medical appointment that morning so we loaded up in a van and off we went. Thankfully it was pretty close by because little man does not like to be in cars!
Once we arrived, the girls had the perfect spot to work on their dips before we went up to the medical exam area.
Once we upstairs we had to fill out some paperwork and then wait for our turn to go through 3 different stations. It was a very busy place filled with adoptive families and their little ones. It was so fun getting to meet different families and to hear a little about their story. Jeremy hung out with our girls while I took Jeter for all his fun stuff.
Jeter actually handled all of it pretty well. He would get upset during parts of the exam but thankfully was able to calm down pretty quickly each time.
After we finished up there we made a trip to Wal-Mart. Jeter was not feeling being confined in the car...which made us all happy to get out again!
We really just needed more snacks (boy can eat!) and socks for Jeremy, but the girls also found some shoes they couldn't live without. They were quite ugly lovely. We went through the produce department to get to the registers and found this. Turtle for dinner anyone?!
All done shopping and heading back out to the car!
We were all pretty hungry by then so we dropped our stuff off at our hotel and then walked to lunch. Helen introduced us to a really yummy noodle place that was very close to our hotel.
They brought out steamed eggs for the kids to try.

We said bye to Helen and walked back to the hotel for quiet/nap time. A little rowdiness happened before everyone calmed down! ;)
Once Jeter woke up, it was time to play some more! We headed up to the indoor play area and let the kids go crazy for a bit.
It is so fun watching this little guy have a blast! He already loved his sisters and has the most fun playing with them!
We played until everyone was hungry and then headed off in search for dinner. We found a McD's and the girls were ecstatic! We were happy because they had a touch screen ordering area in English! Woohoo!
I can't stand McD's...but this "China" burger was pretty good.
Jeter wasn't a huge fan...
This guy was just happy to have a COLD coke! Ice isn't really a thing in most places in China so he was in heaven. ;)
We may have been a little silly and had a little fun...but after 8 days of craziness it's to be expected right?!

It took a little bit, but soon everyone was ready for bed. This hotel is nice because it has a separate living room, so while this was happening...
We were hanging out with our girls in the other room. They have been troopers, but they miss hanging out so it was nice to just be with them for a little while before bed.
Tomorrow we go sightseeing!
